Non-Discrimination Policy

Below is the official Goyfundme Non-Discrimination Policy. Please take a minute or two and read it so that you understand what Goyfundme is about, and what it isn’t about.

  1. Goyfundme does not, and shall not, discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, military status, or politics in any of its activities or operations. These activities include, but are not limited to, hiring and firing of staff, selection of volunteers and vendors, and provision of services. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our staff, fundraiser creators, and donors.
  2. Goyfundme is committed to the first amendment and ensuring that our fundraiser creators can raise funds as long as their activities are within the bounds of U.S. law, as well as our Community Guidelines. Goyfundme is a neutral party with regard to the political, social, and economic dispositions of our fundraiser creators. Each fundraiser is thoroughly examined before it is allowed to be posted to our site to ensure that it complies with the law and our community guidelines.
  3. Goyfundme does not affiliate with any extremist groups, left, right or center. We do not endorse, nor do we promote, any political ideologies shared by any of the fundraiser creators on our site.
  4. The current volatile political climate of the United States means that there might be a fundraiser that someone may disagree with or may in some way find offensive. The beauty of the first amendment is that it allows free speech for anyone within the bounds of the law. If you see something on this site that offends you, but does not violate the law, we kindly ask that you just not look at it. However, if you do see something that you believe does indeed violate the law, please contact us immediately using our contact form and we will investigate. If we feel that the fundraiser does violate U.S. law, we will gladly remove it from our site.

Thank you and happy fundraising.
